Our church at Arcay was formed at Easter 2005, and originally came under the Chaplaincy of Poitou-Charentes, but it was decided that, it made the Chaplaincy to large.
So in May 2006 Reverand Geoffrey Colman was given permission by Bishop David to create a congregation at Arcay, as a new mission area under the supervision of the Archdeacon of France.
Our pastrol charge covers approximately a 40km radius from the town of Arcay. This includes Saumur in the north, Partenay in the south, Sauvage in the east and Argenton Chateau in the west.
